Street Nation

‘Street Nation’ is designed to arm teachers with the basic skills required to teach street dance. If teaching Dance sends shivers down your spine, makes you dread Monday mornings or even makes you reach into your archive in a desperate attempt to locate your aerobic DVD…….. then this is the course for you.

Delegates will be taught a number of simple, but effective street Dance routines and basic moves. The course will provide an array of creative performance and composition ideas for use in the classroom. Although funky and fun, everything is designed to fulfill the requirements of the PE National Curriculum 2008 and to ensure pupils engage in Dance activities, not only in a practical way but also cognitively too.

This course really will make you popular with your pupils and ensure that both boys and girls are engaged. We also can provide on site workshops and classes to help you introduce and embed this style in your classrooms. Delegates will receive a copy of the newly released Street Nation DVD featuring leading street dance stars Rudeye and Peridot. A teaching manual will also accompany this course.
